Ahhhh...how sweet. There is a garden near our town with a large one and the last couple of years it has had these fir cone type balls on it...it's a huge tree.

That looks like quite a prickly plant. I don't think I've heard of it before.

There used to be a massive monkey tree on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds when I was a kid. It had a toy monkey in it too which we'd always try and spot....till one day we drove past and someone had stolen it :o( That tree was never the same after that :o(

An interesting picture and it generated a lot of comments about a monkey tree which I had never heard of and I thought I knew everything. LOL. The plant looks a lot like a flower here called a "cleome." The stems are tall and have leaves like this.

Anyway. Now I know more than I did when I came and for that I am grateful. Thank you.

What a cute little baby! We had one in the yard when I was little but it may not have been the same kind.

Is there a baby monkey in those branches? Nope, I guess not.

probably a little easier to keep under control than a furry baby monkey.
