It never dawned on me that people had never seen a 'catkin', silly of me really! So here is one taken a bit further away!!

Catkins are the epitome of spring as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for popping back to catch up. Time I added another post! What an awful shame about the walnut tree and how lucky you'd taken the photos!
