Same tree, but the outside. The bark on this was amazing, it actually looked like it had been crafted from clay!!!

Yep! These last three are all the same tree. What I haven't done is taken one of the whole tree, which I must do, considering how hollow it is.
I adore these libby - it makes me feel like hugging it and running my hands over the bark - trees do that to me.
So do lots of other things. Anything with texture.
Love these series to bits.
It's understandable, from your post, how artists draw so much of their inspiration from nature.
Trees are fun, its the texture as well as colour, nice captures
