Number 16, Bus Stop, Lacock

Have you any idea what this is???
The clue is inside on the back wall, other than this, you would not know it is the bus stop in Lacock. They do not allow any signs of modern life, no TV arials, satalite dishes or bus stop signs at the front of any of the houses!! Because of the amount of filning that is done here!!!

Oh if only all bus stops looked as nice as that. We have a modern one near our house; full of graffiti and the smell!....I think the locals must think it's the public lav.

Wonderful..! Only in England..!
Waiting for a bus would be such a pleasure.

Interesting! I appreciate the town's effort to remain true to it's character. Thanks for the history lesson.

That's a rustic looking place to sit and wait for the bus. Really, it should be a coach and four one waits for there.

About the tailless squirrel, it seems to jump and run along wires with the greatest of ease, right along with the rest of the fully fluffy-tailed ones.

Thats a nice bus stop, I thought it was a prison!!! Not that I know what a prison looks like so perhaps thats why I was wrong.

I was going to say it looked like an old fort. I wonder how old it is.

Great shot!
Is it part of a bigger building or is it just a bus stop??
